Jack Scarisbrick

Professor John Joseph Scarisbrick MBE FRHistS (often shortened to J.J. Scarisbrick), was born in 1928 in London.〔Freddy Gray, "''I am an unsubtle sort of chap''", Catholic Herald, 21 December 2007.〕 He is a Tudor historian who taught at Warwick University and the founder of British pro-life charity, LIFE which he founded with his wife Noodle Scarisbrick. 〔
Scarisbrick was educated at The John Fisher School and later Christ's College, Cambridge, after spending two years in the Royal Air Force.〔 His most critically acclaimed work is ''Henry VIII'', published in 1968.〔
